Keira Knightley

Knightley was born in London she was the daughter of Will Knightley and Sharman Mcdonald. Knightley was able to get her first agent at six years old and began working in the fields of commercials and television. There was a brief role in the role of Sabe in the space-opera Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999). She came to prominence in 2002's sports movie Bend It Like Beckham, where she played an adolescent football player. in 2003 Elizabeth Swann, a character from the fantasy show Pirates of the Caribbean became incredibly loved. Knightley was labeled the next big thing in the world of teenage stars after acting for the role of Love Actually (2003). For her portrayal of Elizabeth Bennet in the period romantic comedy Pride & Prejudice (2005), Knightley was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Knightley acted in numerous other period films, including Atonement (2007, a romantic love tale), The Duchess, (2008) and Anna Karenina, (2012). The actress also performed the role of a socialite, Georgiana as part of The Duchess. In contemporary dramas she played an aspiring music student for Begin Again (2012) and an aspiring physician in Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit (2013).
