Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on the 5th of February 1964. She is an American actor who is well-known for her capacity to play tough characters, but also at risk. Linney has a theater background, since her father wrote plays Romulus Linney. Linney received her degree in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated at the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City. She started performing immediately in the city on Broadway and was awarded awards for roles such as Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
